Genuine cashback, credited to the statement roughly 60 days after the purchase's billing cycle (3 days before the next statement generation), rounded down per transaction. If no spend occurs in the 1% base category in a statement cycle, no cashback is earned on Airtel bill payments that cycle either — the base spend is a prerequisite multiplier, not an independent bucket.

• Fuel, Rent, Insurance, Education: Also excludes cash advances/financial-institution transactions, wallet recharge, jewelry, government services, gift cards, tolls, and utility/telecom spend not routed through the Airtel Thanks App.
